Non-Visa Students

- All fees are due in full before the start of the course. - Fees listed do not include materials (eg: books) or activities. - All class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 people. - All students must be 18 or over. - A non-refundable £20 administration fee is payable on all courses. - All course fees are inclusive of holidays. Windsor English takes approximately two weeks holiday at Christmas, (excluding Bank Holidays) and one at Easter. ​- Time taken off for personal reasons will not be credited back to the course durations. ​- Courses are not transferable. ​- Where a course has been paid and has to be put “On Hold”, the place can be held, at the school’s discretion, for a maximum of 3 months. If prices have increased during that time, the school reserves the right to reduce the course duration proportionately. ​- For students already in the UK, a Sterling deposit of £150 is payable to reserve a course place. The balance of course fees is payable no later than 2 weeks prior to course commencement, or 4 weeks prior for 1-1 students. ​- The school will refund the fees paid minus the administration fee when a cancellation is notified, in writing, at least 7 days prior to course commencement. The school will retain the deposit and admin fee if notified inside 7 days. - For 1-1 students, cancellations inside 24h will be charged. ​- No refunds of Course fees, Deposits or Admin fees once the course has started or if the student does not attend classes. ​- For students applying from their home country, full fees are payable at the time of registration in order to provide you with the letter of invitation confirming your course. ​- The school will retain £300 if the student cancels the course once paperwork has been issued by the school. ​- Payments can be made by transfer, cheque or cash. We do not accept credit or cards. - All bank charges must be paid by the student. ​- If there are any examples of Covid-19 lockdown, (local, national or specific to the school itself), during the time physical courses are running, the school will offer online classes on a pound-to-pound basis. Where class numbers dip below what is viable for the school to run at cost, 1-1 classes will be offered to students adjusted to the value of the 1-1 rate.

Visa Students

- Full course payment is required at the time of receiving visa support from the school. ​- Fees listed do not include materials (eg: books) or activities. ​- All class sizes are limited to a maximum of 12 people. ​- All students must be 18 or over. ​- A non-refundable £20 administration fee is payable on all courses. ​- All course fees are inclusive of holidays. Windsor English takes approximately two weeks holiday at Christmas, (excluding Bank Holidays) and one at Easter. ​- Time missed cannot be added to the course end date. ​- Courses are not transferable. ​- In the event of a visa being declined by UK Immigration, £300 is retained by the school for each application made to obtain said visa, or if a student withdraws the visa application after the paperwork has been issued by the school. The balance of the of the school fees is refundable once original proofs of visa refusal are presented to the school. ​- There are no refunds once the visa has been granted or the student does not attend the course. ​- Payments can be made by transfer, cheque or cash. We do not accept credit or debit cards. ​- All bank charges must be paid by the student. ​- If there are any examples of Covid-19 lockdown, (local, national or specific to the school itself), during the time physical courses are running, the school will offer online classes on a pound to pound basis. Where class numbers dip below what is viable for the school to run at cost, 1-1 classes will be offered to students adjusted to the value of the 1-1 rate.

Online Classes

- Subject to minimum number of students. - A non-refundable £20 administration fee is payable on all courses. - Payment is required in advance. - No refunds once course has started. - The student is responsible for providing their own stable broadband internet connection, as well as their own compatible hardware, software and keeping these up to date with the latest versions. - The software chosen to administer online courses is subject to Windsor English's discretion, and may be changed at any point.

 

IT Policy

*Windsor English Student Computer Use (IT)* ​- Please use IT at Windsor English responsibly. The interactive nature of the equipment requires you to be especially aware of both the school’s security and your own. - Your access of WE’s equipment/information is for your use only. You are not permitted to allow any other person . - No viewing or downloading of offensive material or any contravening our PREVENT strategy is allowed. - No unauthorised use of school materials is allowed. - You must not interfere with files belonging to other users. - You must not download or install any software on any computer in the school. - Games or unauthorised material on school equipment is not allowed. - Faults should be reported to the School Office. - Internet and email usage must comply with English Law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and abilities. - Our PREVENT strategy countering terrorism must be observed in all uses of IT at the school. *Internet Use*​ - Windsor English provides internet access to help you with your studies. We expect you to use the internet for educational purposes and to conduct yourself responsibly and appropriately on the internet. - Any user who posts materials to any web site that may be considered damaging or offensive to any persons may be asked to leave the school. - You must not download, store, view, print or redistribute any file from the internet that is not directly related to your course. - Students must not download any applications (programs, screen savers, games etc.). - The use of public internet proxies is strictly forbidden. - The school internet must not be used to download or distribute pirated or un-licensed software, music or other data. - The school internet must not be used to spread any virus, malware etc. - Use of internet is only to assist you in your studies. - You are not permitted to install or run messaging applications on school computers. - You must not send unnecessary or inappropriate emails and in particular emails which could be considered offensive, malicious or derogatory. - You must not send bulk emails (spam) to multiple users. - Always keep passwords private. ​

 

Privacy Policy

Windsor English is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in the following ways: ​​- We will only collect data for specific purposes and are clear why and what we require of you and how we will use it.   - Only absolutely necessary information is collected.   - Your personal information is taken only for booking, management and academic uses.  - We will not store data any longer than is legally necessary.    ​ Information Collected ​- When you apply to join a course or programme at the school  - When you contact us for information through our website, by email, by phone, in person or via social media channels.  - Any written information in your English test or application form. ​ Processing your Information - The law in respect of your information is covered by The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please see the ICO website.    - We may process any of your personal data against legal claims.     - Your data is managed in such a way as to be removed from our records (electronic or physical) when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.   ​ How we use information collected online or physically from you - To process a booking for courses.  - To create any relevant paperwork about you/your course.   - To create any reports/certificates for you. - To send you information if you agree to future contact.   - To allow you to use the media at the school.  - To notify you about changes/updates.   ​
