What English classes in Windsor usually look like

Most adult learners choose General English group classes. A good course improves speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while building grammar and vocabulary in a practical way you can use in real life.

At Windsor English, General English is taught in small groups with plenty of speaking time and personal feedback.

Timetable (morning classes)

General English classes run Monday to Friday in the mornings:

- 09:55 to 11:45 (Lesson 1)

- 11:45 to 11:55 (Break)

- 11:55 to 13:00 (Lesson 2)

Levels and placement

Before you start, you take a short English level test so you can join the right class. Teachers can also confirm your placement once they hear you speaking in a real lesson.

Full-time vs part-time

Windsor English offers two options for General English:

- Full-time: 15 hours per week, five mornings (09:55 to 13:00)

- Part-time: 9 hours per week, three mornings (part-time students join the same classes, just for fewer days)

Fees (kept simple)

Full-time fees are weekly and depend on how many weeks you book:

- 1 to 4 weeks: £225 per week

- 5 to 16 weeks: £195 per week

- 17 to 29 weeks: £180 per week

- 30 to 50 weeks: £165 per week

Part-time (9 hours per week) is 85% of the full-time rate.

Additional costs:

- Admin fee: £65 (non-refundable)

- Course books: approximately £25 to £30

- Visa students only: visa letter fee £125 (non-refundable)

Windsor English is in central Windsor, just 2 minutes from The Long Walk, in a Victorian building with free on-site parking.

Try a class first (free trial)

If you would like to experience a real lesson before enrolling, you can book a free 3-hour trial class on weekdays, 09:55 to 13:00.

If you may need a visa

Visa rules depend on nationality and personal circumstances. The safest approach is to check official UK government guidance for your situation first, then speak to the school about what course documents they can provide. Windsor English is not an immigration adviser.
